What the F.A.Q.?
(or, Everything You Wanted To Know about the DesignCraft Fabrication Electronic Cam System a.k.a. My S2K runs iVTEC!)
This system is design to work on all S2000 engines from 1999 to 2009. iVTEC provides additional power where the F20/F22 engines tend to lack - in the midrange. The S2000 is known for its high rpm powerband and its gearing to keep the engine in that range. There is no denying that the S2000 can be a thousand times faster without the lack of midrange power. From turbocharged, supercharged, and normally aspirated engines, the use of iVTEC is extremely beneficial.
DesignCraft Fab has now brought this iVTEC technology to the S2000 F-series engines. Dubbed the Electronic Cam System (ECS), the ECS is designed to be fairly easy to install with some modifications to OEM parts. It is also designed to be installed without removal of the engine or cylinder head. The kit has been extensively worked over to allow the end user to install the ECS on their own using the tools commonly found at home.

- When will it be available?
- The first run of the kits will be available for PRE-ORDER when the countdown timer on the front page runs down, so keep checking for that. It looks like the kits will start delivering in March 2010? S2000 International Forums (www.s2ki.com) are assembling a group buy, and you'll be able to order direct from us as well as soon as you see it available in the store. Remember, it doesn't matter where you buy it from - it's not going to get to you any faster either way as we are still in final assembly for the kits and pricing (and that's what is taking so long - finding a source for all these weird parts.)
- What cars have you tested it on?
